Project Description
The Run for a Reason charity event is organized by the McGill University Health Centre Foundation (MUHCF), as part of the ScotiaBank Charity Run. This fundraiser is a community event for all ages and athletic abilities, with a focus on friends running together to support a cause of their choosing.
The MUHCF hired me to create an identity for the event as a way to help communicate the event’s fun atmosphere and inclusiveness. I designed a logo that hints at movement using a dotted line to connect the English and French text. A loose loop, combined with a casual script font communicates the fun and friendliness. Project has included thus far logo design, roll-up banner with QR code for easy registration, team fundraising goal banners, and an 8′ fundraising goal thermometer banner. The goal banners were printed on erasable whiteboard material, with removable elements, so that it can be updated easily.
